Sydney (September 22, 2021) – Willow, the leading provider of digital twin solutions for smart infrastructure and real estate, has been recognised as one of Australia’s most attractive companies to work at, featuring in LinkedIn’s 4th annual Top Startups List. This award recognises companies that have remained resilient during the past year, continuing to attract investment, employees, and attention.

Willow was featured in the 2020 list and has continued to build on its strengths, fostering a collaborative environment across multiple global offices, with a strong emphasis on company values and leadership.

“We’re excited to be named in this group,” said Global CEO Joshua Ridley. “Like many of the companies in the list, we’re an Australian company that’s playing on the global stage.”

“With close to 300 employees across the globe, it’s essential to have a uniting culture and strong values,” he continued. “That’s why this year, perhaps more than ever, we’ve doubled down on the values. Everyone is expected to be a leader, regardless of title, team size or tenure.”

This announcement follows Willow’s successful completion of its latest funding round, raising in excess of US$43 million (AUD$58 million). The Pre-Series B Round, which was finalised in August 2021, will enable the scaled deployment of Willow’s software to a global customer base.

To generate the list, LinkedIn’s editors and data scientists parsed millions of actions generated by LinkedIn’s 11 million members in Australia — and looked across four pillars: employee growth; jobseeker interest; member engagement with the company and its employees; and how well these startups pulled talent from our flagship LinkedIn Top Companies list. To be eligible, companies must be 7 years old or younger, have at least 50 employees, be privately held, and headquartered in Australia. Notable previous winners of the Top Startups include Canva and Judo Bank.
