Willow enters the Canadian market to meet growing demand across North America

PostedWillow Team

Willow, the leading provider of digital twin solutions for modern, efficient smart infrastructure, is growing its North American operations with new customers coming on board in Canada.

In April 2019, the Australian company Willow launched its Seattle office to accommodate the growing demand for its products & services along the West Coast of America. Since then, demand from Willow’s customer base has continued to increase, leading to inquiries from major Canadian infrastructure networks.

Canada is heavily investing in new infrastructure projects and improvements on existing rail networks across the nation’s transportation system. In September 2020, the Government of Canada announced its commitment to keeping Canadians safe by enhancing rail safety and increasing public awareness and confidence. Willow has been appointed to enable smarter Rail Asset Management on Canadian Government networks as well as lead the digital enablement of two significant rail new construction projects. These projects have set the foundations for Willow’s growth in the Canadian market.

We are very excited to be engaging with the Canadian rail industry, as it has one of the most transformational investment mandates in the world,” said Gerard Francis, Global Head of Infrastructure & CEO of WillowRail. “Willow’s global strategy is based on building close relationships with our customers. Now, with the rapid growth of our Asset Management Solution WillowRail, we are ready to enable services and solutions by merging our outstanding experiences with the capability of our customers in Canada.

Since we launched in the market, we have quickly developed strong customer relationships and can see the appetite for digital innovation. The Canadian market has remained buoyant, and there has already been an incredible uptake and proactive inquiries for our software and services,” said Sallyann Aitken, Vice President of Sales, Infrastructure. “The major players are showing a real drive and demand for digital transformation.
