Adrian Fisk appointed Chief Financial Officer of Willow
PRESS RELEASE | Sydney, January 28, 2020
Adrian Fisk has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Willow.
Adrian was Senior Partner in KPMG’s Financial Services business. In his 17 years as Partner, Adrian worked directly with the Banking, Asset & Wealth Management, Insurance, Property and Private Equity sectors. Adrian’s responsibilities included strategic direction, financial performance, brand, investments and client engagement for one of KPMG’s most important businesses.
Referring to his decision to join Willow, Adrian said, “I am passionate about the impact of new technologies and business models on global industries and our economy. I was looking for an opportunity to contribute directly to the creation of new businesses in Australia. The Willow platform and Marketplace will enable asset owners to deliver significant operational improvements, environmental impact, customer satisfaction and financial value by leveraging the latest technology, IoT and data science advances. The global opportunities in real assets to make better use of our data are enormous and Willow represents the intersection of these strategic drivers. I consider that Willow has the right strategy, clients, people, culture, experience and financial capacity to execute its vision. I’m excited to join an Australian technology company that is competing on the global stage.”
Joshua Ridley, Willow’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, said, “Adrian joins Willow at an important point in our organisation’s story. His experience, financial acumen and leadership qualities will have a huge impact on the direction of Willow and bolster our senior team as we deliver on our existing mandates and grow the business on a global scale.”
In addition to his position at Willow, Fisk is also Chairman of the Kids Cancer Project, with other positions to be announced later this year.
